The Historic Jamestown Society recently held a photography contest called We had a number of great entries but here are the three that the society chose as its top winners.
Picture Jamestown.
The object of the contest was to collect and assemble photographs that depict Jamestown, NC,
its history, its buildings, people and places as they are today.
First Place and the $100 prize go to Shawn McEntee. of Jamestown, NC, for his photograph of the dam at City Lake Park.
Second Place and $75 go to Sharon Canter of High Point for her photo of the Jamestown Library.
Third place and $50 go to Lisa Lemmings of Lexington for her photo of a footpath in City Lake Park.
